Steps for the filing and processing of the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment are described here.
|1.||Completes the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment (pdf) and gathers necessary signatures.||Student|
If requesting reduced enrollment because of a disability, contacts the Stanford Office of Accessible Education (OAE) and requests that they provide a supporting statement directly to the Office of the Registrar.
Note: The student may not transmit the OAE statement; it must be transmitted directly by the OAE to the Registrar.
|3.||If an international student, confers with staff at the Bechtel International Center regarding visa status.||Student|
|4.||Discusses the student’s academic plans, and, if approved, conveys approval of the request by signing the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment.||Advisor and Department|
|5.||Prior to the first day of the quarter for which the request is being made, submits the fully-signed petition to the Office of the Registrar at the Student Services Center.||Student|
|6.||If approved, adjusts the student’s tuition assessment as necessary.||Registrar|
