5.2.2 Part-Time Enrollment: Implementation

1. Part-time Enrollment

Steps for the filing and processing of the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment are described here.

1. Completes the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment (pdf) and gathers necessary signatures.  Student

If requesting reduced enrollment because of a disability, contacts the Stanford Office of Accessible Education (OAE) and requests that they provide a supporting statement directly to the Office of the Registrar. 

Note: The student may not transmit the OAE statement; it must be transmitted directly by the OAE to the Registrar.  

3. If an international student, confers with staff at the Bechtel International Center regarding visa status. Student
4.  Discusses the student’s academic plans, and, if approved,  conveys approval of the request by signing the Request for Graduate Tuition Adjustment Advisor and Department
5.  Prior to the first day of the quarter for which the request is being made, submits the fully-signed petition to the Office of the Registrar at the Student Services Center. Student
6.  If approved, adjusts the student’s tuition assessment as necessary. Registrar
